UPCOMING TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

​Applications are now open for Wise Children’s unique, year-long theatre company mentoring opportunity.

 

With access to our creative, producing and technical teams, Wise Children will work with the selected company to help them reach the next level, whether that’s expanding, rebranding, starting to tour or producing work for larger venues. 

 

We’ll design a bespoke mentoring plan with the selected company, including a mix of in-person and online sessions spread across the year.

  

Who we’re looking for:

 

We want to hear from theatre companies who have existed for at least 2 years and have made professional work (industry experience outside of an education setting) together. All the members will be over the age of 18, and not in full time education.

 

We’re especially keen to meet companies who make work drawing on a range of disciplines, who are interested in touring, and whose ethos chimes with Wise Children’s playful and ambitious approach. Your style of work doesn’t have to be the same as Wise Children’s, but we feel we would be best suited to support a theatre company that, like us, makes theatre for adults in predominately traditional theatre spaces.

Applications open at 9am on Monday 4th November and close on Monday 2nd December.  Interviews will be held during the week of the 9th December. The mentorship will begin on the 1st January and end on the 31st December 2025.
