EDUCATOR RESIDENCY
Led by Emma Rice and her Wise Children team, this transformative week-long workshop gives teachers, lecturers and youth theatre leaders the chance to dive into Wise Children’s innovative approach to theatre-making. You will learn how to apply our playful and collaborative methods in a learning setting, unlocking new ways to engage students with devising, physicality and imaginative storytelling.
Starting with a stimulus, and ending with a small sharing, Emma will guide you through Wise Children’s unique devising process. The week will also be led by our very own Music, Movement and Puppetry Directors, and supported by a Stage Manager.

You’ll learn how to foster an environment where students can think outside the box and develop their own creative ideas. You’ll be equipped with the tools to build an ensemble within your classroom and grow students’ confidence in devising. We want to work with you, so together we can inspire the next generation of theatre-makers.

Alongside the workshop, participants will receive:

-
Exclusive year-long access to Wise Children production films to use in lessons
-
Access to Wise Children video educational resources
-
A year-long membership to the Wise Children Club, creating a lasting connection to the company and its resources.

Please get in touch if you have any questions, or if you’re interested in spreading the workshop fee over multiple instalments.
